1How do I reserve my vacation home?
Reservations can be made online 24 hours a day! Simply search your dates, select your property, and “Book Now.” Once booked online, you will receive a confirmation email requesting Guests info to confirm reservation.
2Is booking online secure?
Yes! We utilize the VRBO website for booking. Your personal and payment information are safe and confidential.
3What is required to secure my reservation?
The Rental Deposit is due upon signing the rental agreement (to secure dates): 50% of the rental agreement with valid credit card. Balance is due in full two weeks prior to commencement of the rental.
4What are the cancellation/refund policies?
The Rental Deposit amount is fully refundable up to 4 weeks or 30 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. After 4 weeks or 30 days prior to the rental period the Rental Agent shall have the right to retain the initial Rental Deposit at the Agency's discretion. We occasionally experience outages that are beyond our control. We report outages as each occurs. No refunds or compensation will be given for any outages. There shall be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions. There shall be no refunds of rents because of shortened stays or ruined expectations due to work and family emergencies or other commitments. All of the above stipulations are detailed in the signed rental agreement.
5How do I check in to my vacation rental?
Arrival information will be emailed to you 1 week prior to your arrival assuming full payment and guest information has been received.
6What time is check in/check out?
Check in is at 4:00 PM (earlier if unit is available). Check out time is 10:00 AM. Late Check out option is available with pre-approval from management and for additional cost. Late check out is not available during peak summer season.
7Are pets allowed?
Most of our vacation homes do not allow pets. If the unit allows pets a deposit is required as well as a pet cleaning fee. If an unapproved pet is discovered at the property, you will be asked to leave without a refund, as you will be in violation of the rental agreement.
8How long are minimum stays?
During any Holiday there is a 3-day minimum. See each property for specific guidelines regarding that unit.
9If I have questions during my stay, whom can I call?
Bay to Beach Rentals is here to answer any questions you might have during your stay. We are easy to contact via text or phone throughout your visit.
10What is supplied in the home?
Guests will arrive to find professionally laundered and sanitized high quality linens on the made beds. Bath sets (bath and hand towels, washcloths) are also provided. Most units have beach towels but we recommend you bring your own so that you have enough for pool time and beach time! Our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, small appliances and a generous supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, spices and coffee. We suggest stopping at the grocery store prior to your arrival so that you may pick up the specialty needs and grocery items you may desire for your vacation.
11What kind of extra amenities can I expect?
All units have basic cable and most have Wi-Fi access. Property specific amenities list will be found on the property description. We have listed links to Galveston Island attractions and rental agencies for items such as bikes, golf carts, cribs, surf boards, etc. During peak season we suggest that you make reservations for these services prior to your arrival.
